Meet our dedicated team
Micky is a qualified Chiropodist with over 5 years of experience in both the NHS and private sectors. He graduated with a BA in Podiatry from the University of East London in 2020 and is fully HCPC registered, as well as a proud member of the Royal College of Podiatry. Micky will personally attend to your care, bringing a friendly and professional approach to each treatment. With his diverse experience, you can trust that you’ll receive the highest standard of care.
A chiropodist (also known as a podiatrist) is a qualified healthcare professional who specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of conditions affecting the feet, ankles, and lower limbs. The title of chiropodist is protected by law and requires the completion of a recognized podiatry degree (or an equivalent qualification) to practice. Chiropodists are evidence-based practitioners, adhering to the highest standards of care in accordance with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) regulations.
Chiropody and podiatry essentially refer to the same field, but the terminology has evolved over time. Historically, chiropodists focused on general foot care, such as treating nails, calluses, and verrucas. Over the years, the profession has expanded into podiatry, which encompasses a broader range of services, including surgery, biomechanics, wound care, and more. While my practice mainly focuses on general foot care, I have chosen to use the term "Chiropodist" for this service. However, for all practical purposes, Micky is a fully qualified podiatrist with a wider scope of practice.
Yes, as a qualified podiatrist, I am able to treat your nails in the context of diabetes. Prior to treatment, I will conduct a comprehensive diabetic foot assessment to ensure it is safe to proceed. If you are deemed to be at high risk during the assessment, I may refrain from providing treatment and instead refer you for appropriate podiatric care through the NHS.
Currently, I am providing treatment exclusively to patients residing in Stratford, Forest Gate, Leytonstone and Bow with E15, E20, E11, E3 or E7 postcodes. As this is a mobile service, treatments are conducted within the comfort of your own home, rather than a clinical setting. Additionally, I offer visits to care homes. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements further.
I do not work directly with insurance companies. However, I can provide a receipt for the services rendered. For any inquiries regarding coverage, please contact your insurance provider directly.
All treatments carry some level of risk. Specifically, risks associated with nail cutting and callus removal include bleeding, infection, and discomfort. The chiropodist will thoroughly discuss all potential risks prior to treatment. We take extensive precautions to minimize these risks, including the application of antimicrobial spray before treatment, the use of sterile instruments, and having dressings available should they be required.
As this clinic is aimed at providing Routine care for Elderly. I do not provide insoles, nail surgeries, bio-mechanics queries
Please don’t worry. The purpose of the Assessments Clinic is to evaluate concerns like yours. I will thoroughly assess the issue and provide guidance or treatment as needed.

As NHS criteria for podiatry care continue to tighten, only patients considered "High Risk" are eligible for treatment. Meanwhile, private podiatry services can be prohibitively expensive for many. This leaves countless individuals in need of foot care without access to essential services. That's where we come in – we're here to bridge that gap and provide affordable, accessible foot care for those who need it most.
